ST Prime AC30 was one of our rigs for the Headrush system that we were most proud of, and to be honest, it was requested quite often. Based on the legendary Vox AC30 amp and paired with a David Hislop IR, ST Prime AC30 gave sweet and crispy tones. But now, the newly released ST Prime AC30 V2 features, in addition to the Vox AC30, a classic Orange AD30HTC amp (dirty channel), giving this rig even more versatility and power!
The Vox AC30 amp produces (as we mentioned before) sweet and chimy tones, and when strummed hard, crunchy, gainy, powerful tones. But the Orange amp gives you not only more crunch, more grit, and more power; when playing solos, this amp will not let you down with its creamy and smooth tones. This is truly the rig of versatility!
Other improvement include removing the Drive Scenes to accomodate Gigboard, Core, and MX5 users with less footswitches, and instead providing two scenes to switch between Vox and Orange in a split second. In addition, the reverb has been modified to give a more cloud-type, ambient reverb, something we hope you find more enjoyable than the original ST Prime AC30.
The rig also includes a 1/4th dual delay, a stereo chorus! Since this rig uses an IR, you will need to download CWT PRIME RIG IR before you import this rig into your pedalboard.
