ST Prime Tweed V1 was one of my rigs for the Headrush system that I was most proud of, and to be honest, it was requested quite often. Based on the powerful Fender Tweed Prince amp and paired with a David Hislop IR, ST Prime Tweed produced warmer and richer tones than the ST Prime AC30 rig. But now, the newly released ST Prime Tweed V2 features, in addition to the Fender Tweed Prince, a Vox AC30 Top Boost Mod amp, giving this rig even more versatility and chime!
The Fender Tweed Prince produces (as I mentioned before) warm, gorgeous tones, and when strummed hard, crunchy, gainy, powerful tones. But the Vox AC30 Top Boost Mod amp gives you the bright side of things: all the clarity, chime, and brightness you need to cut through the mix. This is truly the rig of versatility!
Other improvement include removing the Drive Scenes to accomodate Gigboard, Core, and MX5 users with less footswitches, and instead providing two scenes to switch between Fender and Vox amps in a split second. In addition, the reverb has been modified to give a more cloud-type, ambient reverb, something we hope you find more enjoyable than the original ST Prime AC30.
The rig also includes a 1/4th dual delay, a stereo chorus! Since this rig uses an IR, you will need to download CWT PRIME RIG IR before you import this rig into your pedalboard.
Note: Created to suit stratocaster pickups.
